networking 2 pc's w/ router

I have a home network of two systems w/ win xp home. Accessing internet
through a D-Link DI-604 router. I have no problem connecting to the internet
or loss of speed, but when I tried to setup a home network in order to share
files #1 can access files on #2 but #2 is prompted for a password for #1.
Work group computers are listed fine but cannot figure out why #2is prompted
for password....I never set up a password.

With 2 computers running XP Home, you have to activate the Guest account on both
properly.
