Networking

Im in need of some assistance. I am currently setting up a home network

between two computers hooked together by a dlink di-604 router. Both
are connected directly to the router and not the modem. The main
computer runs Xp and the other runs 98. I am looking to share files
between the computers and am having problems. I have used the microsoft

tutorials and others but seem to be getting nowhere. The computers have

been hooked to the router for 2 years (just for internet hook up) but i

have never tried to set up a file sharing network. Does anyone know any

websites or any programs, or whatever, so i can get the network up and
running? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the help Ben but that doesn't seem to work. The problem with
that was that when i used the new ip address (which it says to change)
the computer will not hook up to the internet or network anymore. I'm
very confused, but thanks though.
