no, you can't risk it.
The problem of wireless is that you can often have a temporary "break" in
the connection.
When that break occurs, pieces and parts of the file are on your
computer..and the rest is on the sever. When the break occurs, those pieces
can't get back to the file. This kind of like a transporter failure in star
trek. If all the parts don't get back to the target, then you have a broken
humpty dumpy with parts missing. Because ms-access in a file share mode
actually "opens" the file..then a break in the connection can damage that
file (pieces can't get back to the file - very messy problem).
However, you *can* use a WiFi with ms-access.
First, it is assumed that you do have a split database...and if you don't,
then read the following as to why you should.

After you read the above, I then explain about using ms-access with a
systems that often break the connection (WiFi...wan/internet) that is not
very reliable. So, in the following article, when I use the term WAN, you
can replace it with WiFi. In other words, if you use the following solutions
to use ms-access on a WAN, then it will also work on wireless.
