I'm thinking about upgrading to XP, but I've got a Win 85 box on my
network. Will XP allow meto access a Win 95 computer on the network? And
should I go for Pro or Home?

Hi,

Whether or not a system can be accessed by another is a function of the
network and the sharing setup on the system being accessed. It will not
matter what operating system is running on the other machine as long as it
is configured properly (could be Win95, Linux, etc.). If you are on a
domain, you will need WinXP Pro, otherwise Home will probably do unless you
want to setup an internal web site or ftp server (need Pro for IIS).
