Network Question

I was wondering if anyone could help me please, I have two machines at home,
both of which have Belkin USB wireless adaptors. Mine has Windows XP Pro loaded
and is connected to the internet using AOL via a USB router. The other machine
has Windows 98. Both of the systems see each other, I can access the Windows 98
system from mine, but if I try to access the Windows XP from the Windows 98
system I keep getting asked for a password. I do not have one setup. Also I'd
like to be able to access the internet on the Windows 98 system, is there any
way of doing this?

The WinXP password; if it requests User & Password may well be Administrator
& 'leave blank' ie enter nothing.
If you have a router you usually connect each pc via the ethernet connector
to the router.
The router will generally come with a disk to assist in setting this up - if
no disk check router manuf.site.
Ensure any firewall is allowing the connection.

You have to create an account identical to the Win98 user on the WinXP
box, including password.

Thanks for the suggestions will try, can someone help me with the second
question please, is it possible to share a broadband connection from AOL which
is accessed on the Windows XP Pro system via a USB router?
