network problem

Hiya all, I wonder if anyone can help me. Ive loaded up a
network from my pc to my laptop, they are both windows xp
pro, i know the network is working because i can get into
the web from my laptop via the pc. but how do i read
files, folders, and programs from the pc onto the laptop,
any ideas??? please help.
