Can see network, network cant see me

Just connected a new laptop to my existing XP network (Linksys).

Ran the network setup wizard on the new laptop.
Can access the internet on the new laptop.
Can see/access all PCs/NSDs/Folders/Printers on the network from the new
laptop.

But the other PCs cant see the new laptop.

I have disabled or removed the firewalls.

The new laptop can ping itself and I can ping it from the other PCs.
The new laptop can ping the router.
Ive swapped cables and the problem still exisits.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Got it fixed.

Dont know how but it now works.

What anti-virus are you using? Some anti-virus softwares tend to
block the NetBIOS name resolution protocol but you can still find the
PCs by IP addresses.
