Network printing

My DIAL-UP program (AT&T) pops-up every time I try to
access my network printer (located in a local LAN)...
Why does this happens ?...
How do I resolve it ?...

This is a long shot, but this try.

Goto Control Panel, Internet Options, Connections Tab.

Change the option Always dial my default connection, to Dial Whenever a
network connection is not present.
