network printers connected to router - no print server

I have two HP laser printers connected through a Linksys
router allowing access to: (2) macs, an XP and a Win95
machine.

The XP machine keeps on losing the printers and the only
way I have been able to remedy the situation is to remove
the printers from the XP machine, then re-install.

I have searched through the Microsoft Knowledge Base with
no success. I have only found one article that came
close to correcting this issue, but, the registry entries
given do not exist in XP Home (see Microsoft Knowledge
Base Article - 302361).
 
XP Home is not capable of automatically restoring network connections. This
impacts both shared folders and printers.
