Network Printer Problem

Background
I have 5 computers running xp pro, xp home and win 2k all connected to a
switch.
all computers ip addresses have been manually configured and belong to the
same workgroup.

From the win 2k machine i have a brother laser printer connected to a
parallel port and from one of the xp pro machines i have an HP inkjet
connected to a parallel port.

I have a Konica printer/copier/fax/scanner and a large format HP printer
connected to the switch, both have manually configured ip addresses.

I have a Belkin 4 port router with a manually configured IP address
connected to the switch for internet access.
I have disabled DHCP and am using MAC filtering to limit which computers can
access the net.

Problem
I recently had need to reinstall xp home on one of the computers. No problems.

I reinstalled all my software and printer drivers ... was able to print test
pages on all printers.

I then used windows update to upgrade XP ... since then i am unable to print
to the Konica from the upgraded machine.
I can still access all other printers and network computers from this
machine.
I am also able to administer the Konica from this machine via internet
explorer.
All other computers are able to access the Konica

I am able to access the Konica from the XP home machine by installing it as
a shared printer from the Win 2k machine.

I am at a total loss as to what to try other than reinstalling windows and
NOT updating.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
