network not available

Guys,

i have tried most of the things like my n/w
places-properties-configure--power management-& UNCHECKED allow the computer
to turn off this device to save power. but still i have noticed that if the
workstation is left ideal for over a certain period of time i lose
connectivity with all network resources & everytime i need to restart the pc.

this happens only with the pcs having winxp pro with sp2. all other machines
running on win2k pro work perfectly fine.

is this a known issue or is there a way to resolve this, cos the users r
kind of getting irritated with this.

please advice.
