We have a Windows Server 2000 issue the tech can't solve.
Network Neighbor will not populate. If you reboot the
server all workstations will appear but then disappear
within days. When the network workstations don't appear
only the two server show in Network Neighborhood. This
isn't a critical problem unless I need to work on an
application where the Network needs to be available.

Any firewalls, switches, etc. in the network? What protocols are
involved, tcp/ip, netbios?? Need more info...

Using Smoothwall firewall/ TCP/IP / HP ProCurve Switch.
Have been advised thius could be a Master Browser issue
that need setup through the registry?

check event viewer for errors.
try disabling master browser on all machines except the server, so that
there is'nt a conflict.
