Unable to see workstation in network neighborhood

Some of the workstations (running on Windows 98) connected
to the file and print server (running on Windows 2000)
cannot be seen in the network neighborhood although the
workstations can access the files in the server.

Also, the workstations cannot see the network printers in
the network neighborhood.

Any ideas?

Do you have multiple subnets? If so, you need a WINS server
(replicated set) and ALL clients to register with that WINS
server (set).

Are the Win98 machines all in the same "workgroup" (name)
as the domain (name)? If not, it won't work. Browsing is on
a per DOMAIN basis and workgroups don't support cross
browsing -- that's a domain feature.
