Network half working

Hi there,
I have 2 computers behind a D-Link router both running windows XP.
My problem is that my left computer can see and access my right computer but
my
right computer can't see or access the left one. They are both configured
the same I believe.
Any Ideas???

This situation also occurred when I wasn't behind the router!

Both computers are xp (Pro) and both computers at one time had norton
Internet Security installed... but I have removed the firewalls since I
bought the router!!

See if you have the windows firewall installed on the left computer.

Secondly try sharing a folder on your left computer - if you haven't already
done so.

See if you can ping the right computer from the left one:
Go to start -> run and type in "cmd".
Then at the dos prompt type ping rightcomputer [replace right computer with
the computer name]

And post back the results of the ping
