Network Folder access

I was wondering how I would be able to monitor users when
they access folders on the network. I am running Win2K
standard server with AD. There are times when users come
to me and say that somebody went into there folder and
messed with files or something. I would like to be able
to check some sort of log to see who did what and where.

Hi Chris:

You can use the Folder Auditing in Windows 2000. Here is the link to the

Also, you might want to consider setting the security permissions so that
only the correct users can access the files. That would stop the un-wanted
access.
