NETWORK ERROR MESSAGE

I installed a wireless router: DIR-655 (Extreme N Gigabite). I keep getting
a pop up window on the bottom right of my screen that says: "Windows was
unable to find a certificate to log you onto the network (my network name).
Could someone tell me what this means?

Rightclick your "Local Area Connection" icon in the Network Connections
folder. Properties, "Authentication" tab, remove the check from "Enable
IEEE802.1x authentication for this network."
