Network Connections Phone Nbrs Change

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Hello, and thank you for reading my post.

Suddenly, today, I noticed that all(!) of my Network Connections (dial-up)
had their phone numbers changed from what I entered. They all now show
888-812-2766.

Also, when I change any one (or more than one) back to what they should be,
they get magically changed back to that wrong number very quickly.

In addition, the User Name field in each connection now reads as
"bweis80.224.41063", which, for some reason is a combination of my name and
some string of numbers (an IP address...sort of?)

Do you have any ideas why this is happening (spyware?) and what I can
specifically do to resolve this? Please let me know soon, and thank you very
much.

You have some Trojan installed, and need to do whatever you have to, to
remove it.

Dear Mark,

Thank you very much. That was what I suspected. In fact, I spent much of
the past weekend removing adware and spyware. Oh, joy. ;-)
