Network Connection Timed Out

Hello All,

The problem I'm having is that I get an error message ( The Network
Connection Timed Out) when I try to check for purchases when connected to
itunes.
This preventing me from being able to load the purchased songs to my ipod.
I'd appreciate any suggestions!

Test your results for this change.
Rightclick the LAN icon in Network Connections folder. Properties,
Authentication tab, uncheck the box for "Enable IEEE 802.1x auth......"

Hello Mr. Ferguson,

I really appreciate your help!
I went thru the steps you mentioned & did see that the box was unchecked?
Usually I have no problem trouble-shooting any PC problem that pop up!
This one has me puzzled!
Any other suggestions?
