Network Connection Failure on Updates

When Windows update is looking for available updates on
our computer the link to our Internet Service Provider
fails when "Scann is 100% complete". Consequently unable
to access Critical Updates. Running XP Home Edition
Internet Explorer 6 . Any thoughts?
 
Go to symantec.com

Check your computer for the msblast.exe virus as
discussed there. Instructions are step by step and
describe the symptoms folks are having.
