network bridge won't delete

I have unintentially set up a network bridge thatI want
to delete. Network connections - properties - delete
brings up a "unexpected error, unable to delete" message.
any ideas please

If the Network Bridge shows up in your network
configuration, make sure that you really need it. If not,
delete it, but if you use Internet Connection Sharing,
disable it before you delete the Network Bridge and re-
enable it afterwards.
