NetFramework

I am using Norton WinDoctor to check for Windows problems and in doing so it
shows me as having 10 problems, all dealing with NetFramework. It states the
following:
NetFramework 2.0.50727 cannot access a necessary file "msvcr80.dll"

All 10 are different areas of NetFramework but says that each can't access
the file. This is the correct version number for NetFramework as showing on
the system. Also, I checked for the file "msvcr80.dll" and it is in the
folder "Windows\WinSxS. Any ideas of what is happening here?

You are better off without Norton WinDoctor. Are you experiencing any
problems with the system related to .Net framework? That is only needed
if you have a program that requires it, and if one does and .Net is not
installed it will tell you, or if you program in .Net framework.

Just do a search for msvcr80.dll. The search will find a copy/version in one
of the directories under I386/ copy and paste the found file into the
directory 'system32' in the windows directory. Run Windoctor again and you
will find the problem has gone away.
