Why does

net time \\myserver /set /yes

give access is denied?

I have set the same user accounts on both computers and they have the same
password. Both are running Win XP Pro SP2. I have enabled Advanced file
sharing (don't know if that is necessary) on both computers. What more do I
need to do?

I would check to make sure you are a local administrator or user that has
the user right to change the system time. Verify that you have proper
network connectivity to the server such as being able to access a share on
it. Also try using the IP address instead of the server name and if that
works you have a name resolution problem. --- Steve
