Nero Express 6 & SP2

After installing XP SP2, launching Nero Express 6.0.0.28 brings up a
window saying there are known compatibility issues with this vers of
Windows & to visit Ahead Software. I don't see anything specifically
about this on ttheir site, & despite the warning it seems to work fine
after pressing the Continue button.

Anyone know about these issues? Seems unlikely they'd make you buy a
new version just for upgrading to SP2. Incidentally the window was
headed Nero Burning ROM so maybe the problems are to do with some of
the advanced features that Express doesn't do.

Windows XP service pack 2 is supported by Nero 6 since August 2004 (from
version Nero 6.3.1.20 and all higher versions)

After installing the free Update this message will not appear any more.

Just get the latest Nero v6 update from the Ahead website.

It sounds like you may be using an OEM version. If so, you should be able to
update to 6.3.1.25 for free. Your serial number controls what you're allowed. I
updated my OEM version that way before jumping up to v6.6. Note: You can't go to
v6.6 without getting a new serial number for it and I don't know if they're
selling them anymore.
