I didn't ask for a technical answer. I only stated a very basic
observation that Nero 6 is incompatible with Vista so that it is
impossible for him to go back to Nero 6 when Vista is the OS.

So are you saying he lied? Because that's what he *said* he did.

I see no reason why he would lie. What would he have to gain? Based on what
I have read here, Vista does some things for some people, that it does not
do for others. I have a laptop that came with Vista. I use Ypops on it with
no problem. Other people cannot get it to work, and they have the SAME Vista
home premium I do. Why is that?

some-guy, whether the OP was honest or not about "going back to Nero 6 on
Vista" is irrelevant.
The facts are, there IS a "technical reason" why Nero 6 won't even install
on Vista: It is 100% INCOMPATIBLE
with Vista. Don't believe it? Try it yourself. You will meet with nothing
but complaints from the Windows Installer.
The ONLY versions of Nero which are Vista-compatible are the versions above
7.4.

Even if you DO succeed in installing Nero 6 under Vista, it just won't
start.

Funny as the other 2 have said. I have Nero 8 working just fine. iTunes
also works. Ever think it was your PC??

For many, Nero 8 does work as does ITunes, so there isn't a universal bug
preventing these things from working. The fault would appear to be local
to you.

Supplying more info re error messages will help others give you advice
which may well fix your problems..

Mike, since the OP hasn't responded as of when I answered this, would seem
just some dipsh*t troll, that saw another issue somewhere, and just wanted
to start another crap thread.
