During the initial installation of Nero 7, there is a dialog box that
gives the user the option to assign file types to some part of the Nero
suite (I forget which -- possibly PhotoSnap). One of the things that I
have noticed is that if I do not deselect everything, certian shortcut
icons get corrupted. For example, the shortcut to Acrobat Reader.
However, I have recently updated Nero and now the icons are corrupted.
I cannot change the icon back because the button in the properties box
is "ghosted." Repair installations of the applications in question also
do not help. I am at a loss.
