Nero 7 essentials

Hey does anyone have any idea if I should update nero 7 essentials because
it was compatible with XP but now on vista it asks for me to update the
latest version? I have a 56k modem and the new nero is 170Mb. Does anyone
have advice?

All you need is the latest update, to work with Vista, and this does mean
downloading the whole lot.

If I were you I'd go to a cybercafé or library with a CDR and download it.

You may find that these days Nero bundles a lot of useless crap into the
bloated suite. As long as you have a legitimate Nero 7 serial, you can
download one of the hacked installers for Nero, which just give you the
essential tools. They are called Nero Lite and Nero Micro.
