need to stop unwanted driver re-install from appearing on reboot

I forgot to remove the driver for a BENQ LCD before removing form XP.
Worse, I plugging in a Viewsonic monitor in its place before installing the
right driver.


Despite the correct driver has been installed for the Viewsonic LCD, every
time after starting up the XP and login, the wrong unsigned driver install
will be attempted and I have to abort the install


This is pain I need help to remove. thank you

LCD monitors dont have drivers...they have .inf files.
Look for it ....delete it
The problem you are describing does NOT sound like a LCD drivers problem(no
drivers..remember)
Read you event viewer to see where the problem lies....maybe Video Card
driver??
