how to stop unwanted driver install from apearing on reboot

I forgot to remove the drive for a BENQ LCD before removing form XP.
Worse, I plugging in a Viewsonic monitor in its place before installing the
right drive.


Despite the correct driver has been installed for the Viewsonic LCD, every
time after starting up the XP and login, the wrong unsigned driver install
will be attempted and I have to abort the install


This is pain I need help to remove. thank you.

I have a slightly different problem. My
XP Home came installed with AOL 9.0 and no matter what I do it always opens
on reboot. Does anyone know how to stop AOL from opening. I tried going to
the Start up program but AOL isnt even listed as one of the Start Up
programs. Help

you should post separately get better attention to you problem as your
problem is unrelated to mine requiring different solution.
