Need to record more than audio

First time movie maker user trying to download video from a Canon DV cam. When I click on "record" the only choice for downloading is "audio only" how do I get a choice for video?
 
For starters you might want to upgrate to MM2, I think MM1s button was
called "Record" - go to windowsupdate.com
