Need to know which version of Internet Explorer I have on my computer

I wish to download a patch from Symantec to protect my
computer from w32.swen virus. When I attempt the
download I am asked which version of Internet Explorer I
have on my computer. I am running XP 8.0. Can someone
tell me which version of IE I have installed on my
computer? Thanks for your help.

What is "XP 8.0?" To determine your precise version of Internet
Explorer, simply use the menu Help > About....
