Need to Export Audio

Hello! I am creating a voice over demo, and I needed a program to edit my audio files. I used MovieMaker to create one continuous thread from the audio files as well as editing starting and ending points. Obviously, the file type is a MOVIE, but I need an AUDIO file - like .WAV or something. Is there a way to export or convert the audio from my "movie" - of which there is no video of course. Please help -

I really don't want to have to re-create this, but if there is no other option, what software that comes on XP could be used? Can you do the same type of thing in Media Player?
