need to delete reference to a word document that is already delet

I have deleted a word document, but when i click on file, the document name
still appears there. Also, if the task pane is showing, then the name of it
is there. I need to get rid of that file name
 
Press Ctrl+Alt+Hyphen, then click on the filename. Use this shortcut
carefully, as it will remove *any* menu item you click on!
