I have Xp home, I need to install Windows 2000 for work. XP won't let me
install an older version. How do I get rid of XP and install Windows 2000?

If you're trying to downgrade to Windows 2000, and keep all your
data and installed programs, you can't. Downgrades aren't
supported. Your only choice is to clean install Windows 2000.

However why do you need Windows 2000 for work? If it's to join a
domain, perhaps you could use Windows XP Professional instead;
you *can* upgrade to that.

Often in that case it's nice to first take the disk to a factory fresh
state.
