about 4 days ago my lovely new computer crashed on me while I was runnin my virus scanner (PC-cillin 2002). the scanner picked up on a virus and asked what to do so I said clean, it said it was uncleanable so I deleted it. and then that is when it crashed. I restarted it but after re-starting it asked for the XP set up CD so I did that, for the past 3 days it was installing then stopped, when I cancelled I got an error message that something to do with security could not install
NOW all my 'puter does is restart itself gets to a point where it says re-starting setup then goes back to booting
PLEASE WHAT CAN I DO??? or should I get an IT pro to fix it?? I don't think that my insurance for the 'puter is going to cover this.

You can boot from the XP CD and do a repair install on top of the existing
software.

You may have to go into your BIOS to make sure the CD is selected as a boot
device before the hard drive.
