Need help with uploading to host site! Via HTTP?

I originally created and uploaded my site via FP 2003 (FTP). It's been a
while and I updated my site. I tried to upload it again via ftp but it would
not load. I called my hosting site (GoDaddy) and they said I cannot use ftp
to upload it. They said I had to upload it via HTTP? Now I am not an expert
with FP but I am not a newb. I am not seeing any option at all to as far as
HHTP to upload my site? I am pretty sure the info they gave me was from FP
2000. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Hi there
You can use your PUBLISH on front page, (drop down from FILE)
Make sure that your host site lets you overwrite the index.html page. also
config your own front page publish wozard to overwrite the index.html when
you upload. also make sure that your host has front page extensions
installed.on their end.
what are you using for ftp? coffee cup works well if you for some reason you
do not want to use the publish on Front page.
I can walk you through front page issues, just email me and I will phone
you, anywhere in north america and some countries (I have a great ph plan)
no charge free

Actually GoDaddy has the FPSE loaded for my upload. At least thats what they
explained. They actually had me go into my account with them and reload them
last night.

If done correctly as you say I should get a promt to enter the password for

By inputting the address as Tom pointed out, it should automatically http
publish if the extensions are installed.

I will try it shortly, I am at work. I assume I will have to select "Select
FrontPage or SharePoint Services" and then at the very bottom of the remote
website properties box type in my domain destinationin the "remote web site
location" ? I appreciate all the help by the way! GoDaddy was worthless!

Ok, yes select "Select FrontPage or SharePoint Services"

Thanks for the help! It was like pulling teeth when I asked the GoDaddy
person if I should use the FrontPage or SharePoint Services option. I assumed
it was but wanted to make sure. Wondering if you happen to know. I created a
website showing pictures I have taken around the world and would love to make
it so that people can only view them and not copy and save them at all. Is
there a way to to make sure they cannot copy the pictuer and use it? Thanks!

Not possible to protect images, as they have to be downloaded to be viewed in the browser. Add a
watermark to your images (yourname and copyright year).
