need help with cd rom

I am having troubles with my cd rom, everytime i put in a new cd, dvd or
audio cd i have to restart my computer in order for it to work?? Can anyone
help rectify this problem??

sometimes windows automatically disables the device or you may have to look
into the properties page and see if you need to turn on the auto play
settings. you might also check in with the manafacturere to see if there is
an updated driver too.
