I was deleting a bunch of junk I no longer needed and it
wasn't until after I emptied the recycling bin that I
discovered a problem. When I click on the start button,
instead of the arrows pointing to the right, there are
tiny little pictures of mouses (the computer kind!). In
the upper right corner, the three symbols where you close
out a window are different too. The only things I deleted
were some fonts and something that said "xactiv...". I
didn't get the rest of it. I didn't mean to delete that
one. It was an accident. Someone told me it was one of
those bizarre fonts that Microsoft puts on your computer
that has symbols instead of letters and someone else told
me it has to do with the active x folder that was deleted.
This is driving me crazy!!! Can anyone please help? I am
using Windows2000 Pro. Thanks!
Pamela

You have several options.
1 Restore from backup
2 Restore from a system restore point
3 Use undelete software available on the internet or a local retailer
4 System repair and replace missing files
