Need Help setting up windows mail account

I'm trying to set up my account and if you go to Tools .....Accounts....
then Properties ...then Servers. It asks you ..............
My incoming mail server is a ______ server.

Incoming mail (POP3): ____________

Outgoing mail (SMTP): ____________


I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE!! HELP ME ..PLEASE! I need to fill in the blanks.

your POP is your provider ( Example pop.sbc.global.net ) also make sure your
firewall isn't stopping it from working . I hope this helped.

If you don't work for Microsoft, it's unlikely you should have an
email address ending in @microsoft.com.

You should ask your email provider (who is probably also your
internet provider) for their instructions for setting up to use their
email servers. If they haven't written instructions for Windows
Mail yet, use their instructions for Outlook Express but under
Windows Mail instead. The instructions are probably somewhere
on their web site. Or, you could tell us who your email provider
is and see if anyone here already knows where to find the
instructions.
