setting up email

Hi I need help setting up my email using windows mail (vista) on my comp.
Its asking me for incoming mail (pop3 or imap) server and outgoing mail
(smtp) name. Please help in laymans terms. Thank You foe all your help

Your email account provider should have a help page on their website with
the correct server names and settings.
Some even have tutorials. If they don't have one for Windows Mail, use the
one for Outlook Express.

Or, if you tell us who provides your email account, perhaps someone can
help.

Follow the settings given here:

but use port 587 rather than port 25 for the SMTP server.
