Need help! Need to RDC into Vista Ult from XP-Pro SP2 - and can't

Hi folks,
I'm in a bind. After lastnight's automatic Windows Update to my Vista
ultimate machine, the wireless keyboard no longer functions, so I can't login
locally. Trying to RDP into the box and I get the "NLA required and your
computer doesn't support it" error. So now I have a useless Vista box. Any
suggestions on getting into it? It doesn't have a PS/2 style keyboard
connector, only USB. And of course I only have the wireless and standard PS/2
style keyboards.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Any chance you can get the PC to a friends house, etc that happens to have a
Vista machine or at least borrow a USB mouse and keyboard?

No, but I'm on the way to the store to purchase a USB keyboard & mouse.
What a pickle. I hadn't bought one in the past - because I used RDP to
access my machines, until I upgraded this to Vista - sheesh.
Thanks anyway.

I always found that unplugging the USB keyboard and plugging it into a
different USB port AFTER the PC has booted generally worked...
