I installed Visio 2000 on my PC and now when I click a JPEG
an icon opens up in the taskbar, but no windows or anything open up.
All I can do is go to task manager and kill it. The task manager lists
this app as microsoft photo editor. Evidently Visio installed this? Is
there a way I can restore jpeg and all my images to open again in
windows picture and fax viewer without having to change them all
manually? Do I need to uninstall microsoft photo editor? Where from?
Thanks

In My Computer, click on Tool and Folder option and on the File Type tab.
A list will open, scroll down the list to JPG and click on Change. A list of
will open, select Window Picture and Fax viewer.

i was just hoping there would be a way to automatically restore ALL the
file associations in one step - i'm not even sure what they all were
is there a list of default files supported by the picture/fax viewer?
