when i restarted my comp lsat night, my entire desktop
disappeared and i cannot open up:
Start-Control Panel
Start-My Computer
Start-My Network Places
Or any of the necessary things to try and fix my comp.
I can use run and command prompt, and run most programs,
but i cannot run WMPlayer9.0, or anything like that. Real
one player works and stuff, but nothing of much use. When I
try to open up Control Panel, it get a message saying that
it cannot find
(null) and then nothing else. Any help would be
appreciated. I cannot just use an XP disk to fix it,
because this comp came with it preinstalled, and so I dont
have the XP Professional disk that i would need. I already
ran sfc/scannow, and used the system restore, but nothing
helped. Please help me!!! Thank you in advance.
