Need chkdsk on a floppy

I am unable to start windows XP pro. I keep getting the
Stop 0x00000024 error. I need to run chkdsk on the disk,
but where can I download the tools. I have tried nearly
everything else. Will not succesfully do a "repair" after
booting from the os cd. Always goes back to the blue
screen with theerror.

Sounds like you have a hardware issue, not a software
problem. You might consider bringing it to a repair shop.

Set the BIOS to boot CD before Hard Disk. Boot the XP CD and, instead
of Setup, take the immediate R for Repair. Assume any password
requested is blank, and TAB over.

Run
CHKDSK /F /R C:
from that - it will be read from the CD
