Need a text box to scroll repeatedly through entire slide show?

PowerPoint 2003
I have created a PowerPoint presentation to run on our LCD monitor in our
reception area. I want to add a text box to the bottom of the master to say
"welcome to......" so that this runs throught the entire presentation.
I want the text box to keep running but it stops and starts with each slide.
I have tried using P2S software (downloaded a trial version) where you put
the PP presentation into the P2S with a ticker added to it but I can't move
the ticker and it appears halfway up my slides, not at the bottom.
Hope this is clear and somebody has a suggestion for me.

I'd go for PowerShow as well but it is possible to get this effect by making
a wide video of the animation (with a screen capture program like Camtasia)
and setting it to stop after 999 slides
