Clock in mutiple slides within a continuous PowerPoint 07 presenta

I have a presentation that runs continuously in our reception area (on an XP
machine) that has a handful of slides with the date and time showing. They
have been entered into the presentation as information within a text box via
the date/time stamp on the text bar. I need them to be constantly updating
and have been unable to get this accomplished. Non of the features within
PowerPoint seem to work (they only work for a little while and then stop
updating). Any & all information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have uploaded a clock we are using for examination announcements. It
uses the autodatetime add-in: http://www.slideshare.net/ChemEdLinks .

If anyone has a more eloquent way of doing this, I would love to hear.
