hello i'm new in networking, and i'm trying to add a
computer using windows 2000 to a main ics computer that
uses windows xp pro sp-1, now the windows xp connection
wizard doesnt support windows 2000, how do i overcome
this?

There is no requirement to use the wizard. All settings can be done
manually. You need to set the IP Address, Gateway, DNS, SubNet Mask on the
win2k to obtain these settings automatically. These will be obtained from
the ICS computer. Instructions can be found in your windows help, or at:
http://www.practicallynetworked.com
http://www.wown.com
http://www.homenethelp.com
as well as many other good home network and ICS sites.
