LOL! Actually the install process of 2005, removes previous versions
first.
BUT, if it's not possible to remove 2004, that is a problem you
should address. WHY can it not be removed? How are you trying to
remove it? Etc.? You might be asking for trouble in getting 2005 to
work right since it's going to possibly occupy the same corrupted
areas 04 is in. Have you tried reinstalling and THEN uninstalling
04 so that you recreate all the log files, etc.? They might have
been corrupted or deleted.
Suggest you read their Help files onsite - lots of info there. I've
had decent responses from their Tech Support.
