help norton 2004 disabled

can someone pls help me i have recently installed winxp
sp2 and now my norton internet security and antivirus
2004 keep getting switched of , or disabled. when i boot
they seem fine but after 15 minutes they are switched off
do i have a virus i have downloaded the lastest update
all around .... i have tried uninstalling and
reinstalling norton ...getting desperate now help..also
used ad aware pro and scanning in nav2004 in safe mode no
luck heeeelllllp.

are they off according to windows? or norton? turn off xp
sp2 security center warnings.

if you update your antivirus definitions daily then by now
you should have the windows sp2 patch for norton.
