I recently reloaded Windows and made the mistake of
changing my administrator name before I uploaded my back-
up files--mostly my documents. The upload created two
identical copies of the My Documents folders, one under
the old name and one under the new. I cannot merge or
delete the folders, because both are considered essential
to Windows. Is there a way to get back to one copy of My
Documents? Thanks

Have you tried creating another account with the old name and administrative
privileges?
