My XP just started crashing incessantly...

All it asks me is if I'd like to "send an error report"
and I hit yes and nothing changes. It happens when I'm
on the web but with no particular site. I have NAV and
update that and the MS patches regularly, though I keep
getting a start up error that says my "FAT32" file is not
right and the disk needs to be checked, though when I let
it, it just says "okay" and lets me in. What is the
problem here? Thanks.

go to recovery console and run chkdsk /r
